Change #3

The third thing that I would change about Online Publishing is the constant ridiculing of students from the evil teacher, Mr. Currin. Any mistake that a student makes, it is immediately called out on them and then made fun of for the rest of the day. I honestly believe that he has made kids cry because he always degrades them. What a monster.

I’m not saying that there should be a teacher change, because Online Publishing would be nothing without the man. But he could definitely lay back on the insults to other students, because who knows how it’s affecting them? I saw Mr. Currin get very angry in class today because we were not cooperating and exams were going on in the school and we were being a little too loud. It’s a rarity to see that guy angry. I think I actually pooped my pants when it happened because it’s something I thought I’d never see. I know Meghan Snyder did poop her pants because I can currently smell it. That is inappropriate for school and irrelevant, so I’ll just stop talking about it.

Although it is funny to hear Mr. Currin completely tear apart Kyle Klug for his article on the month of May, it is somewhat sad. Poor Kyle put so much work into finishing up that 300 word article, and then it is just denied. Who knows how that effected Kyle? It really makes you wonder. Oh well.

Overall, Mr. Currin is a pretty cool guy. What I’m trying to get at is rather than degrade every article that he doesn’t find good enough from a student, he should encourage them to do better and give them tips on grammar and punctuation. In order for a student to do better, you have to teach him how to do better. A wise man once told me that. His name was Harold Jenkins.
